The love
story of the American tuning company TopHat Classics for tuning Land Rover
Defender has been around for a quarter of a century. Here and now restless
engineers have come up with how to make an SUV faster, more powerful and
dynamic.
To begin
with, the whole "front end" of the Avotombil has been altered. The
engine room had to be significantly increased to accommodate a new engine. It
became a classic V8 volume of 6.2 liters and a capacity of 565 horsepower. An
exhaust system and a fuel supply system were also upgraded. The latter got a
fuel pump.
Together
with this power unit will work "mechanics" Tremec T56 Magnum and
running with pneumatic racks Reiger. Also, TopHat Classics employees presented
Land Rover Defender with a differential lock and improved AP Racing brakes,
without which a faster car would not be enough. By the way, the potential
tuning studio offers to install unique seats equipped with ventilation and
heating.
How much
will it cost "pumping" SUV has not yet been reported.
