Defender Burning Green leaves the ECD garage with 565HP under the hood

What you see here is a 1989 Land Rover Defender D110 Crew Cab restored and modernized by ECD Automotive Design to look cool and modern.

As per the standing tradition, the off-roader underwent an engine swap to the Chevrolet LS3 6.2 V8, boosted from the standard 435 hp (324 kW) to 565 hp (421 kW) upon client’s request. Assisting the motor is a Borla performance exhaust system and a Hooker manifold giving it that extra-deep rumble.

The body was given an exclusive olive shade with warm yellow accents (hence the ‘Burning Green’ moniker). 20-inch Kahn Mondial wheels come wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires.

Further off-road features include a Warn Industries VR12 winch up front, a LED light bar above the windshield and a roll cage installed over the truck bed.

The cabin of the ECD Defender Burning Green sports sand-tinted soft Nappa leather and comes equipped with all kinds of latest tech. There are two openable windows in the roof.

The price remains unknown, but you will be challenged to find a restomod like this priced under U.S. $200,000.
