According to media reports, the still-to-be-introduced Defender flagship known only as the 130 will ship with a luxed-up interior and extended equipment, making it a worthy rival of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and other high-end SUVs.
There is precious little known about the 130 to date, apart from the fact that it will be able to accommodate up to eight people and be slightly longer than the 110. It will ship with three gasoline and three diesel engines to choose from, all mated to the same eight-speed auto transmission.
Rumor has it that the Land Rover Defender 130 will emerge in mid-2021. Its junior siblings – the Defender 90 and 110 – will launch much sooner than that, priced at £40,000 and above.
