Check out the latest Defender by Lumma Design

Lumma Design – a tuner from Winterlingen, Germany – has unveiled a new tuning kit for the Land Rover Defender (Type L663). Called the Lumma CLR LD, the build sports exterior and cabin upgrades but no engine tweaks so far.

Novelty outside extends as far as the ventilated fenders, a new radiator grille, a spoiler, auxiliary lighting and aero moldings on the hood, sides and roof. Wheels are available in sizes ranging from 19 to 23 inches, and customers may specify off-road or highway tires. The wheel arches gain 40 mm (1.6”) of width, and the suspension grows up by 30 mm (1.2”). A performance exhaust system is a paid option.

No interior shots have been published yet, but Lumma promises us a range of upgrades spanning from such trivialities as aluminum pedal pads and branded floor mats to a full leather makeover.

Engine kits should become available later on, and the tuner says the kit should be compatible with the upcoming V8 variant of the Defender. The first customers will receive their vehicles next spring.
