Vossen Wheels has come up with a particularly dark and menacing styling kit for the new four-door Land Rover Defender. The off-roader landed with a matte-black vinyl wrap, tinted windows and a stylish set of forged rims.
While the first two points are self-descriptive, the wheels warrant a closer examination. Installed here is a Vossen HF-2 set wrapped in Goodyear off-road tires. The designers went for a creative take on the classical Y-spoke pattern by adding short cross-braces between the spokes near the hub. The result is a rather aesthetically pleasing and fashionable design.
The EU-spec diesel Defender comes equipped with a three-liter six-cylinder engine rated at 300 hp (224 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Assisted by a minor electric motor, the unit takes the car from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.7 seconds.
