What aftermarket mods does it take for a pickup truck to become so desirable, someone would buy it and ship overseas? Apparently, not much – a tasteful restoration is enough.
This left-hand-drive 1995 Land Rover Defender Pickup sports a new paint coat and is free of rust or other signs of prior use. The doors, the wheels and the tires are all new, and the cabin houses aftermarket seats. Modifications were made in the suspension, exhaust and brake systems.
The former owner also fitted his ride with an external roll cage painted black, a reversing camera, a HVAC system and a Bluetooth-compatible audio set. The stock 2.5-liter diesel paired up with a five-speed M/T and dual-range transfer case remained as is.
We don’t know how much the mods cost, but whoever bought the car in England and had it brought to the United States must have felt it worth the asking price.
