Overfinch, a go-to company for luxury Land Rover restorations in the USA, will be releasing as many as 12 exclusive restomods this year based on the 1990s-era Defender models.
The tuner highlights that the low production quantity has nothing to do with artificial exclusivity or anything like that. Indeed, a talented team of engineers, body sculptors and interior workers has to work very hard to be able to churn out one luxury vehicle in a month. Customers will be getting “something truly personal” with each order, along with timeless Defender appearance concealing state-of-the-art tech and options.
No details have been made available so far, but you can watch the attached video for a good general idea of what to expect. It is also very likely that, aside from a stylish new body and an opulent trim, each car will get its own built-to-order powertrain based on a European or U.S.-made engine.
