Land Rover Defender Rally Special drops wraps ahead of a rally in Wales

Land Rover has outfitted this Defender 90 with a number of modifications that should aid it in the upcoming Bowler Defender Challenge in North Wales, UK. The off-roader wears a livery that celebrates 60 years since the premiere of the first James Bond movie.

It sports black bodywork with all Bond movie titles inscribed on it, large numbers “60” on the roof and side, and a classic “007” logo. Power is sourced from a P300 Ingenium engine rated at 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Notable modifications in the powertrain department include enhanced engine and transmission cooling, a sports exhaust system, a full-size roll cage, and a roof spoiler in the back.

The Land Rover Defender Rally Special rides on 18-inch Bowler wheels clad in all-terrain tires and benefits from upgraded suspension.
