Heritage Customs develops the convertible side of the new Land Rover Defender

A topless Defender is the kind of idea that prompts itself. There was one in the old generation, and both the Ford Bronco and the Jeep Wrangler have such a version. Inexplicably, Land Rover never launched one, so Heritage Customs took the matter in its own hands.

The tuner announced the project in late 2021 and has now followed up with opening pre-orders for the model. You can order your custom Defender convertible in blue, green or red with a unique soft top and a unique set of wheels provided for each version.

Only five units of each will be made. Conversion costs start from €84,700 for those who can source their own Def, or €138,500 if you would rather have Heritage Customs look for a suitable SUV.

The production is set to begin in late 2022.
