Osprey restores yet another Land Rover Defender 90

Osprey Custom Cars is quite skilled at taking old Defenders and turning them into cars equally suited for off-roading and auto shows. This Def 90 Soft Top is no exception.

The team tore down the entire SUV to respray it in Corris Gray and install a four-point roll cage. The old cloth top made room for a more stylish black counterpart with an openable window in the back. Further mods included a new front bumper with built-in DRLs, a rugged body kit, convenient access steps, and a full-fledged spare wheel holder in the back.

The interior now has heated seats and windshield, four ‘paratrooper’ seats in the back that you can fold up when not in use, and a 7-inch infotainment system with full smartphone support.

A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 made it under the hood along with a six-speed automatic transmission. A transfer case is used to send up to 441 PS (435 hp / 324 kW) and 603 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque to all four wheels.

In the video, Osprey gives us a quick rundown of its other, similar project.
