Yet another Land Rover Defender restomod crops up for £0.2M+

Oshe Automotive has announced the impending production of a number of Land Rover Defender restomods named after some of Africa’s largest rivers.

The first one is called Okavango and packs a 3.5-liter Rover V8 engine connected to an automatic transmission. The tuner plans on making only four units per year priced from £225,000.

Next up the queue are Limpopo, Zambezi and Sabi. All three models are based on the stretched Defender 110 platform and utilize the Corvette’s 6.2-liter LT1 V8 for propulsion. All three get complete wiring replacement, AP racing brakes and electronic shock absorbers with five presets to switch between.

Inside, the seats and the pedals have been rearranged, and the handbrake has been moved to a different location. Power steering, AC, heated mirrors and windshield, power running boards and an audio system based on Audison and Morell components are all included in the main spec. Scotland-based leather vendor Muirhead supplies the primary trim material.
