Land Rover has introduced a special modification of its Discovery Sport SUV, titled the Landmark Edition, to celebrate the 70th birthday of the brand.
The anniversary series will ship with a choice between a 2.0-liter, 180hp / 134kW gasoline engine and a same-sized 240hp / 179kW diesel motor. There will be more interior finishing and body color options available than in the standard version, but the roof of the vehicle will always remain contrast Carpathian Grey.
The base equipment includes exclusively designed, glossy dark grey 19-inch wheels, a front bumper accentuated with Graphite Atlas highlights, grainy leather upholstery and aluminum details in the interior.
Finbar McFall, one of the British company’s top managers, said that the Discovery Sport model enjoys the best sales across the entire LR range. Around 350,000 vehicles have been sold since 2014, including 126,000+ in 2017 alone.
“The Discovery Sport is loved by customers because it demonstrates the breadth of Land Rover’s ability, offering unrivalled all-terrain capability with the versatility for up to seven people and a premium interior,” – he added.
