Range Rover gets retrofitted with a Chevrolet engine

This can be hard to believe, but the Range Rover series has been around for a quarter of a century! More importantly, it has hardly changed much since the initial release. Sure, there have been occasional minor facelifts, but Land Rover has never done anything groundbreaking with it.

Apparently, American tuner ECD Automotive Design has decided to remedy the situation. The team painted the car Red Metallic with occasional parts left black and replaced the factory wheels with a set of 20-inch Kahn Design Mondial rims.

Then they removed the 3.5-liter, 203-hp (152-kW) engine of the car, replacing it with a potent Chevrolet 6.2L LS3 V8. No specifics were given, but as far as we know, this engine is usually capable of around 430 hp (321 kW).

Aside from the above, the car has received air suspension, new lighting and an extensive cabin overhaul. The latter involves lots of light-tinted leather with red accents and occasional natural wood inserts. For the driver and passengers to feel more comfortable during long trips, the car gained a large multimedia display, a wireless charger and a climate control.
