The iconic Range Rover turns half a century old this year, and JLR acknowledges the milestone by producing 1970 units of the RR Fifty Edition. Exclusive suits are also underway to fashion-conscious drivers, and those who are missing out on both may still watch the spectacular parade that the company set up at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Fifty vehicles attended the show, led by a venerable 1969 model year Range Rover. The highlights of the run included an expedition off-roader that crossed the Darién Gap, a six-wheeled RR fire truck, and an unusual ambulance, among others.
Witnesses of the run said it was “truly a sight to behold”, according to media reports.
