Gen.1 Range Rover runs electric thanks to Lunaz

Lunaz Design specializes in converting classical cars into EVs, latest examples including the Rolls-Royce Phantom V featured in the video here and this first-gen Range Rover.

The company tears the car down to the last bolt, scans the parts in 3D and replaces all worn-out ones. You can choose between Town and Country specs, but details on these haven’t been published yet.

Restored SUVs benefit from suspension and interior upgrades, and infotainment, Internet access and climate control are listed under paid options. Orders are processed stating from £245,000 in Great Britain.

The original Range Rover shipped in 1970 through 1996. The tuner will only be restoring 50 units like this, after which it will proceed to build the Safari Cabrio, a convertible model also based on the Range Rover chassis.
