The Land Rover testing crew is on a trip to the southern reaches of the blazing hot Europe right now to test all units and components of the next-generation Land Rover, and here are the spy photos.
The images instantly reveal that the car is a hybrid: note the two hatches obviously meant for the fuel tank and the charging port, as well as the ‘electrified vehicle’ decal on the windshield.
The current-gen Range Rover has a plug-in hybrid version limited to 404 PS (398 hp / 297 kW) and only 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) of electric range. We would expect the next iteration to get more power and range to stay competitive in its market segment.
Design-wise, things will likely stay the same except for certain new elements the car may borrow from the latest Velar.
