Overfinch – a Land Rover specialist with 46 years of experience – has unveiled a first-gen Range Rover restomod suitable for everyday urban driving, highway cruising, and the occasional hunting trip.
A 1993 Range Rover was taken as the starting point for the build. It received an Emerald Metallic paintjob and 16-inch wheels. Other than that, the exterior stayed stock except for Overfinch badges and a plaque hinting at a V8 under the hood.
This is indeed the case here: the old 200-horsepower engine is gone and a 6.2-liter eight-banger takes its place with 424 PS (418 hp / 312 kW). An upgraded six-speed automatic transmission takes the momentum to the wheels, and the chassis, the suspension and the brakes all enjoy their fair share of improvements to cope with the newfound power.
The inside space is dominated by premium leather with diamond stitching, Alcantara, walnut and chrome details, sheep-wool mats, and a modern infotainment system with a premium speaker set, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite navigation.
A set of drawers trimmed with leather and walnut resides in the truck and can be used for storing hunting rifles, cigars and other gear for the wilderness.
The asking price is $382,900.
