This is what a Range Rover secret surveillance vehicle looks like

A 39-year, three-door Range Rover SUV is on sale in the UK for the asking price of £22,000. The car has served in police for most of its life, where it was used for discreet observation purposes.

To that end, its rear side windows were tinted and an enclosed space was created where an operator would sit with a radio station, a couple of early mobile phones and a special device called course and-bearing indicator. A disguised antenna sat on the roof, accessible via a special roof rack.

Now that the need for such outdated equipment is gone, the car has recently changed its occupation to that of a normal two-seater commercial minivan. It has fewer than 100,000 kilometers (62,000 miles) on the odometer to show for being made in 1983.
