Young tuning company Lunaz specializes in restoring classic cars on electric power, and this Range Rover Safari conversion for Long Island is no exception.
While the exterior may stay largely recognizable, the cabin gains a new eight-seat design thanks to dual benches facing each other. The floor is lined with a precious species of hazelnut wood as another homage to the overarching yacht theme.
For the convenience of the well-to-do clientele, the convertible comes equipped with a fridge and a freezer, temperature-preserving cup holders, wireless phone charging pads and winding mechanisms for up to four wristwatches.
The technical side of things is not disclosed at this moment, but most projects by Lunaz involve a dual-motor electric powertrain driving all four wheels with 365 PS (360 hp / 268 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. In the UK where the Lunaz headquarters is located, customers can order similar EV conversions starting from the minimum price of £245,000, which roughly translates into $287,000.
