E.C.D. Automotive Design has presented its latest creation dubbed Project Gibbles: what used to be a 28-year-old Range Rover became a quality restomod with a General Motors-sourced V8 under the hood and a slew of other improvements.
The mill produces 460 PS (454 hp / 338 kW) and links to an eight-speed automatic transmission. A custom exhaust system by Borla lends it a juicy new soundtrack. The suspension benefits from the tuner’s proprietary air-ride components.
On the exterior side of things, the off-roader sports a deep black paint coat and wears 20-inch wheels. The bumpers are new at both ends, and there are aftermarket headlights at the front installed in vintage-style round housings.
The cabin has the same layout, but the trim is completely new. Natural leather goes along with beige and black wood here, and a modern Sony infotainment system provides the feed from a rear-facing camera. There are multiple USB ports for charging and a wireless pad as well.
