We had already posted images of the regular Range Rover Sport running pre-production tests, and now, the performance-laden SVR version hit the test track as well.
Large wheels, bumpers with special air intakes and a large spoiler seem to be the main highlights. While not official, the new SVR might get adaptive suspension for optimal handling and a 4.4-liter V8 boosted to around 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). This would enable it to compete well against the likes of the RS Q8, X5/X6 M Competition, and AMG GLE 63 S.
The off-roader will come based on the MLA platform and offer a choice among multiple powertrains. Sales will begin either in late 2021 or 2022.
