We have been seeing the next-gen Range Rover Sport on pre-production tests since February 2020, but the company has only now proclaimed it ready to debut.
Along with posting a new teaser image, Land Rover has confirmed that the premiere will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
The current Range Rover Sport (see video) managed to set multiple acceleration records, including one in the Hunan Province of China. In March 2018, it braved the Road of 99 Bends to the top of Mountain Tianmen, setting a new unofficial best time. The company promised to continue this winning spree with the next generation, so we might learn about a new record when the SUV debuts in two weeks.
Other than that, Land Rover promises us unlimited opportunities and cutting-edge digital technologies in its latest creation. The RR Sport will likely reach the showrooms with six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, as well as a particularly powerful PHEV system. Any specifics will have to wait until the launch.
