The new generation of the Range Rover Sport is set to debut on May 10, and we had only seen a few cabin teasers so far. Someone must have gotten tired of waiting, because they posted a photo of the car online without the camo.
Like we expected, the next iteration of the RR Sport stays true to its recognizable exterior design, preserving familiar body outlines and dimensions. Even the front fender flares are the same. The sides are no longer strongly sculpted, though, there are new pop-out door handles, and the lighting has grown a bit slimmer.
Drivetrain and suspension are the main points of interest right now. The new generation comes based on the MLA-Flex architecture, which gives it a five-wishbone rear suspension system and AWD. Customers will be able to choose from a variety of “mildly” electrified six-cylinder engines burning diesel and petrol. A plug-in hybrid variant is expected to join the lineup later, too.
