Manhart endows the new Range Rover Sport with an extra 103 PS

In the Land Rover lineup of SUVs and crossovers, the Range Rover Sport is particularly attractive to those who want sportiness and style combined in the base spec. Naturally, it was only a matter of time until German tune-up shop Manhart produced a tuning kit for it.

The RR Sport depicted here is a First Edition spec that debuted last fall. Among other things, it received the marque’s strongest engine straight from the factory, a twin-turbo V8 capable of 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque.

The company managed to bolster the output to 653 PS (644 hp / 480 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, a surplus that may come in handy especially in off-road driving scenarios. Still, the project car shown here may not have been envisioned as an off-roader with its 30mm (1.2-inch) reduction in ride height and giant 24-inch wheels. There is also a bespoke exhaust system with a remote-controlled active valve.

On the outside, the car is immediately recognized as a Manhart thanks to its signature black-and-gold color scheme. You can order it now, but keep in mind that some of the mods have yet to pass TÜV certification in Germany before they become street-legal.
