Land Rover will be releasing a small update for its Range Rover Sport SUV series in the coming year. The vehicles will get additional electronic driver aids and options.
The 2019 Range Rover Sport will ship with an ABS system that will monitor the road ahead for potential dangers and react at high speeds to prevent collision. It will also get adaptive cruise control that would be able to stop and start in slow-moving traffic jams as long as the vehicle doesn’t remain stationary for more than 3 seconds at a time.
Aside from the above, the upcoming Range Rover Sport refresh can take advantage of optional lane control. The electronic assistance system can recognize road markings to keep in the same lane – or just follow the vehicle ahead.
The latest Range Rover Sport facelift was released last autumn. The SUV family got a new hybrid member and a new interior trim similar to what the Velar ships with.
