Range Rover Velar gets V8, 550hp in a limited series

Car manufacturer Land Rover has taken the wraps off the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition. The limited series will soon hit the dealerships priced at £86,000 and above in Great Britain.

The new Velar is easy to recognize thanks to a different radiator grille, a four-pipe exhaust system with a soundtrack of its own, and reshaped bumpers with larger air intakes to guarantee better cooling of the brakes and the new V8 engine residing under the hood.

As stated above, each car gets a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine capable of producing 550 hp (410 kW) max. Just like the Range Rover Sport SVR, the new vehicle takes 4.5 seconds to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph).

Among other things, the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition features performance brakes, lightweight 21-inch rims, a sports steering wheel and decorative carbon inserts here and there. The front seats are power-assisted, fully adjustable and can be heated, cooled and ventilated at any time.

As a pleasant bonus, the manufacturer lists six color schemes available for the exterior and four for the interior.
