Range Rover Velar gets its second update in a year

The Range Rover Velar went through a major facelift last fall, but it hasn’t stopped the manufacturer from refreshing it once again now, along with adding new modifications.

The car is now available in 14 new SV Bespoke finishes, notably including Tourmaline Brown. Both the Pivi and the Pivi Pro infotainments now support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay from the factory, and get their updates over the air.

Aside from this, the Velar is the company’s first production car to feature Cabin Air Purification Plus. The filtering hardware stays the same, but the software benefits from adjustments. Among other things, filtering can now be initiated well ahead of driving, and CO2 sensors can now automatically determine how intense the ventilation should be.

Another novelty comes in the shape of Auris Edition, an upmarket variant of the R-Dynamic S trim. Highlights include 20-inch silver wheels and gold-colored accents on the front fenders, radiator grille, and badges. The interior stays unmodified.

Pre-orders are already running in Europe.
