Spy photographers have managed to steal a few pics of the new sports-oriented Range Rover Velar SVR crossover as it was running test laps on a famous track of Nürburgring, Germany. The vehicle is scheduled for European release this fall.
A cursory glance at the newcomer reveals new bumpers, rear diffusor, and exclusively designed wheels.
It has been revealed earlier that reduction of the car weight was among the top priorities of the designer team, which resulted in it weighing under 1,800 kilograms (<3,970 lbs).
According to an unconfirmed source, the new Range Rover Velar SVR should get a potent 5.0L gasoline engine good for 500 horsepower or so. It will enable the car to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.2 seconds.
