Japanese luxury car manufacturer Lexus is currently weighing the pros and cons of designing a new extreme crossover/SUV model that would become part of the Lexus F family.
According to various representatives of the company, the matter is being actively discussed right now. The proposed car might end up as a street-going crossover with advanced suspension or a full-fledged, hardcore SUV like the Mercedes-AMG G-Class.
A while ago, Lexus Executive VP said a UX-series subcompact SUV might ultimately become the new addition to the F lineup. If confirmed, the car would likely ship with a hybrid drivetrain and certain engine control software improvements.
