The premium vehicle manufacturer Lexus has recently registered the new ‘LQ’ trademark. Knowing the naming conventions used by the brand, we should expect a new flagship crossover SUV based on the Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept shown earlier this year at the Detroit motor show.
As such, the Lexus LQ is going to come packed to the brim with the latest tech the company has at its disposal. There are going to be numerous electronic driver aids and safety systems, a full set of airbags, a 360-degree camera set, a state-of-the-art infotainment system with like a dozen of speakers, a multi-zone climate control unit, touchscreen displays for everyone in the car, keyless-start-and-go, smartphone integration, and more.
It is reasonable to expect that the upcoming Lexus LQ will mimic the Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept in general appearance. That said, it will likely be just a bit less of a crazy futuristic vehicle and a bit more mass production-friendly. It will mainly ship gasoline-powered, but a hybrid or even a hydrogen-powered modification may be released as well.
Prices and the release date will be announced later.
