Toyota Racing Development (TRD), a part of Toyota Motor Company responsible for aftermarket and tuning, has unveiled its offer for the recently refreshed Lexus ES.
The package contains decorative overlays for the side sills and mirrors, a new front apron, and a rear diffuser. The whole set comes in at ¥699,600 if finished to match your car’s exterior. There are also two wheel sets on offer: 20-inch 18-spoke for ¥959,200 and 19-inch 14-spoke for ¥695,200.
Elsewhere, ¥104,500 buys you special braces that should improve the torsional rigidity of the car, resulting in greater driving comfort and road stability. As for the interior options, only armrest pads are available right now for ¥61,600.
The 2022 Lexus ES (see video) hit the domestic market on August 26, 2021. It features headlights with revised light patterns, new body colors and stiffer suspension, as well as enhanced digital mirrors with higher video quality and less flicker.
The only ES currently on sale in Japan is the hybrid ES300h spec, which combines a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated mill good for 178 PS (176 hp / 131 kW) with an electric motor capable of 120 PS (118 hp / 88 kW).
