The Japanese premium car brand Lexus has uploaded some photos and a video showing its latest-generation ES sedan. The vehicle will premiere before the wide audience at the impending Beijing Automotive Exhibition 2018.
From what we can see, the body design of the updated Lexus ES bears a marked resemblance to that of the hi-end Lexus LS. The vehicle now also utilizes the up-to-date TNGA platform, which Toyota uses for many of its other cars.
Industry professionals tend to believe that the new Lexus ES gets a revised 3.5-liter V6 engine boosted to 300 horsepower (224 kW). A hybrid model will be made available as well. First cars should reach dealerships late this year.
