Lexus has reworked its body-on-frame GX lineup for North America. Let’s glance over the highlights.
The 2021 Lexus GX can now be obtained with an option package called Premium Plus, which includes sat-nav, power-assisted third seat row, and a high-end audio system composed of as many as 17 speakers.
Further noteworthy additions are Acoustic Windshield, which serves as an additional noise insulator, and a new infotainment system with Amazon Alexa support. The latter comes standard in all trims.
The Safety System+ suite is also standard now, bundling lane control, pedestrian detection and obstacle detection in a single package.
The model still relies on its usual 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 to propel it forward with 305 hp (227 kW).
Prices in the United States begin from $53,100.
