The Black Line trim debuted on the 2022 Lexus GX (see video) and will be returning next year under a new name: Black Line Special Edition. It will be limited to just 3,000 units priced from $62,310 USD, nearly five grand above the $57,575 sticker price.
The Black Line package now additionally includes the Panoramic View Monitor camera system. You can choose from more exterior finishes this time around, notably including the exclusive Eminent White Pearl.
Elsewhere, the special edition sports blacked-out grille, fog lights, roof spoiler and roof fin. The taillights get black inserts, and the same color can be found on 18-inch wheels with a gloss finish. Inside, the steering wheel is trimmed in Black Matte Ash Wood, the headliner is black and the stitching all around is grey.
Powering the car is its standard 4.6-liter V8 rated at 301 PS (297 hp / 221 kW) and 446 Nm (329 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is six-speed automatic.
