Anthony and Joseph Russo, the directors of Avengers: Endgame, have produced a promotional video for the Lexus IS 500 starring Kumail Nanjiani.
The action takes place in the universe of Marvel’s new movie titled ‘Eternals’. Nanjiani’s character comes late to an important fight because he cannot find a parking spot for his Lexus IS 500. The ad claims that ‘the joy of the new Lexus IS 500 is eternal’, and that the V8 it comes equipped with may not give you cosmic superpowers, but is still the next best thing.
Eternals hits the big screen in early November. The video also features the new NX SUV and an LS sedan, highlighting Lexus’ position as the sponsor of the movie.
The IS 500 debuted in February equipped with a five-liter V8 rated at 479 PS (472 hp / 352 kW) and 536 Nm (395 lb-ft) of torque. The standard sprint time is roughly 4.5 seconds, and buyers can opt for a special trim called F Sport Performance. It mostly just adds exterior trim pieces and will be available in the United States this fall.
