Lexus has unveiled the Launch Edition of its IS 500 F Sport Performance sedan revealed in February. All 500 cars will be available exclusively in the USA.
There is a new exterior color named Incognito, as well as standard 19-inch BBS wheels from the Dynamic Handling package. Each wheel weighs 1.8 kg (4 pounds) lighter than the stock one.
Also included are a new interior trim, special dashboard animation, seats wrapped in grey and black, and trim accents.
The sedan still relies on its 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission for propulsion. 479 PS (472 hp / 352 kW) and 535 Nm (395 lb-ft) of torque take it from zero to 97 km/h (60 miles per hour) in 4.5 seconds.
