Japanese premium carmaker Lexus has unveiled the new LC 500 Inspiration Series. The production run will be limited to just 100 coupes.
All Inspiration Series cars are being marketed as collectors’ pieces. The LX 570 and LS 500 have already received similar versions. The LC 500 Inspiration Series came out in blue in 2018 and in yellow earlier this year. In 2020, the model will emerge in the exclusive Nori Green hue.
The cabin is trimmed in Black Amber and Bespoke Saddle Tan shades with Alcantara covering the doors and soft aniline leather wrapping the seats.
Each car boasts its own limited edition plaque shaped precisely like the LC 500 brake light.
In terms of tech and features, the series has nothing new to offer. A 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8 with 477 hp (356 kW) and 540 Nm 400 (lb-ft) of torque accelerates the coupe from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds via a ten-speed automatic transmission.
