The Lexus LC 500 convertible series isn’t even out yet, but Barrett-Jackson has just sold the first production unit to a wealthy collector. The VIN #100001 vehicle cost him U.S. $2 million.
Lexus will be releasing the Inspiration Edition of its convertible first of all, which will be limited to just 100 units. Mass production will begin after the first batch hits the market.
The VIN #100001 specimen sports a blue paintwork along with carbon-fiber running boards. It comes powered by a five-liter, eight-cylinder naturally aspirated engine producing 477 hp (356 kW) and 540 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is ten-speed automatic.
