Lexus LC Coupe gets a slight facelift in the USA

Lexus has subtly changed its two-door LC series for the United States, making it lighter and introducing a couple of suspension improvements.

The scope of novelty includes new suspension springs, aluminum struts, added anti-roll bars, and new lightweight rims measuring 21 inches in diameter. As a result, the car has lost 10 kilograms (22 lbs) of weight compared to its predecessor.

Aside from this, all trim levels of the LC now ship with the Active Cornering Assist (ACA) system on board that brakes the inside wheels for added stability in turns. The ten-speed automatic transmission of the LC 500 has been reworked for faster throttle response, and the same is true for the hybrid powertrain of the LC 500h.

The range will hit the showrooms throughout the United States later this year, introducing two new paintjobs (Cadmium Orange and Nori Green Pearl), new 20-inch wheels, and fresh interior trim options. One final improvement comes in the form of the long-awaited Android Auto support.
