Carmaker Lexus has brought quite a fleet of concept cars to this year’s SEMA show, including the previously introduced Electrified Sport believed to be the ideological successor to the LFA, as well as several completely new cars.
One of these is the DSport IS 600+ Project Build featured in the video below. Essentially a track-focused version of the IS 350 F Sport, its 3.5-liter V6 churns out more than 600 horsepower. The car rides on 19-inch Volk Racing wheels shod in Michelin 4S tires, wears an Artisan Spirits body kit and boasts Seibon hood cover and trunk lid made of carbon fiber. Inside, a MoTeC Motorsports dashboard and a Momo steering wheel are the main highlights.
Next up in line is the LX 600 Urban Concept, which uses the LX 600 F Sport as the starting point. It has new rims and exhaust system, an Artisan Spirits body kit, assorted carbon-fiber components and Brembo B-M8 brakes.
Then there’s the Lifestyle Concept, another design study built on the same basis in a collaboration between Lexus and Yeti. It targets active leisure enthusiasts and comes equipped with new bumpers, wheels and a tourist kit including a fridge, a couple of chairs and some boxes.
What used to be a GX 460 Blackline Edition became the Overland Concept. Also dedicated to traveling people, it features an option pack called CBI Offroad. Included are a new front bumper, some rugged trim pieces and a roof rack. Those interested may pay a premium for a tent and a set of Toyo tires.
Rounding off the six premieres is a mildly retouched RX 500h F Sport Performance finished in pink with 22-inch Rays Engineering wheels wrapped in Michelin 4S rubber.
