The Lexus LS500h executive sedan/saloon is a frequent choice among those people who feel tired of the Germany’s Big Three (BMW, Mercedes, and Audi) and their occasionally stale designs. Chic yet still sufficiently understated, the Japanese vehicle looks relatively fresh in Europe and therefore has a considerable fan base there.
Then, of course, there are tuners out there – like the Japan-based Artisan Spirits, for example – who believe that understatement is simply not the way to go. In fact, the company just issued a small tuning package for the Lexus LS500h, including a modest-sized front splitter available in the car body color, a trunk-mounted spoiler lip, a tidy and not too ostentatious rear diffuser, silver-tinted wheels, and a suspension lowering kit.
Granted, this is rather less than we usually expect from tuners like Artisan Spirits, but even these parts succeed in making the executive car look like an aggressive and sporty ride. That, and they also make it look more like a Lexus F vehicle – an interesting thing to consider for all those disappointed in the fact that Lexus won’t be releasing an LS500h F.
