The U.S. branch of Lexus has announced a special edition of its LS sedan/saloon. Called the Inspiration Series, it will consist of 300 cars and ship in the coming fall with prices yet to be determined.
The existing Inspiration Series already includes the Lexus LC 500 coupe and the LX 570 SUV. Its main distinguishing feature comes in the form of a Deep Garnet exterior paint.
Aside from the paintjob, the special edition takes advantage of 20-inch wheels and a custom interior trim. The latter involves white leather on the doors, seats and center console, audio speakers with blacked-out front meshes, and occasional glass ornaments throughout.
The Lexus LS 500 Inspiration Series comes powered by 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engines rated at 421 hp (314 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb×ft) of torque. The transmission is ten-speed automatic, and you can choose between FWD and AWD.
