A test mule of the new Lexus LS sedan/saloon powered by hydrogen fuel cells has fallen victim to spy photographers. The premiere won’t happen until next year, so let us try and take a closer look.
The test mule wears a thick camo wrap, but it doesn’t quite hide the stylish new radiator grille, headlights and other features we will likely be seeing across the entire 2021 LS range.
This particular car comes powered by an improved version of the Toyota Mirai hydrogen powertrain. The Mirai has been on the market since 2014.
No official technical specs exist for the 2021 Lexus LS at the moment. We expect the car to ship with a 4WD system in base and maybe four sports seats instead of the current five-seat configuration.
