Lexus has unveiled the 2021MY version of its LS flagship sedan in July, and now the actual cars started shipping in Japan.
The new LS sports a different front bumper, headlights and radiator grille, the latter housing autopilot sensors. The 12.3-inch infotainment system inside now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay straight out of the box. The Adaptive Variable Suspension received a few tweaks for comfort, and the updated gearbox should translate into improved acceleration for the Hybrid spec.
The LS500 trim comes with a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 turbo still rated at 422 PS (416 hp / 310 kW). The part-electric LS500h has 359 PS at its disposal (354 hp / 264 kW).
