The Japanese premium car manufacturer Lexus is currently working on a few new modifications of its flagship sedan, the LS, a manager of the company revealed in an interview.
Among other things, the production of a hydrogen-powered Lexus LS should begin soon. The market viability of an all-electric model is also being considered.
Last but not least, Lexus wants to re-release its hybrid LS sedan. The current model has a unit which is 354 hp (264 kW) strong. The new one should come with a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 engine and a couple electric motors for 415 hp (310 kW) total output.
