The current Lexus LX generation has been with us for 13 long years and only received a major facelift in 2015. Rumors about an upcoming brand-new LX have been circulating for a while now, but the luxury carmaker does not feel like confirming those just yet. Instead, customers in Russia now have access to two limited editions: Heritage V8 and Heritage Black Vision V8.
It is a good question why the Japanese company insists on putting “V8” into the title, seeing as its entire range is currently based on these and only these engines. Could a transition to turbocharged V6 power be right around the corner…?
The Heritage V8 boasts a special radiator grille design and 21-inch bi-color wheels, as well as new badges and bumper details. Dark Green and Light Brown metallic tints have been added to the list of available body finishes.
The Heritage Black Vision V8 is similar to the Black Vision from two years ago: it sports an updated body kit, 21-inch forged wheels and black trim elements such as LED headlight backings, door handles, roof railings and side glass bezels.
The cabin makes use of black and red upholstery adorned with diamond-shaped stitching on the doors. The only engine available is a non-turbo 5.7L V8 working on gas.
