The Japanese premium brand Lexus has made a pleasant surprise to all those attending the International Car Show in Los-angeles, U.S. this year. A 5-seat hi-end off-roader Lexus LX upgraded to the model year 2018 was presented to the wide public at the event.

The new Lexus LX enters the U.S. market with an old and proven 5.7-liter V8 gasoline engine. Rated at 383 hp and 545 Nm torque, it accelerates the SUV which weighs 2,630 kilograms (~5800 lbs) in mere 7.3 seconds. Its peak velocity is 220 km/h (~137 mph).
Speaking of the price, the new Lexus LX will be sold at U.S. $84,980 and above. Throw in another $5,000 if you would like a seven-seat version.
