Facelifted Lexus RC to debut at the Paris show

The mid-generational refresh of the Lexus RC coupe will be showcased at the Paris International Motor Show starting in October. Reportedly, the sport car will get certain design features previously reserved for the top-spec LC model and offer revised steering, reworked engine and stiffer suspension.

You can tell the facelifted Lexus RC from the previous series by the differently styled front bumper, radiator grille, lighting and rear bumper air vents. The F Sport variant gets its own grille design plus a set of 19-inch wheels.

The interior of the sport car will be dominated by a new mechanical clock and sport decorative elements with several patterns to select from. Elbow rests and the safety airbag for the knees will be relocated to slightly different positions. The dashboard upholstery will sport an ornamental stitching pattern.

On the technical side of things, the car gets stiffer shock absorbers and a reworked version of its two-liter turbocharged engine, which should reportedly make the Lexus RC more agile and responsive to throttle.

Prices will be announced later.
