Japanese luxury car maker Lexus will enter the Detroit Motor Show with a racing build of its RC F coupe, called the Track Edition.
Based on the recently made spy photos, the car has a lighter bodywork, which includes a carbon roof, hood and rear wing. Its aero parts are styled similarly to those of the RC F GT racecar.
Compared to its street-legal counterpart, the Track Edition sports different lighting, a revised radiator grille, new bumpers, a sports-grade diffusor and restyled tailpipes.
Rumor has it that the vehicle will be powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine featuring improved intake and exhaust. Its output will likely exceed the 473 hp (353 kW) of the street-legal version.
