Based on the new teaser video revealed earlier today, Lexus will attend the Detroit Motor Show with the RC F Track Edition, a racecar conversion of its RC F sports coupe.
It looks like the car will get different-shaped headlights, revised bumper and radiator grille, a sporty diffusor and new exhaust tips.
It will also likely sport a lightweight body construction with a carbon rear wing, roof, and hood. As for the aerodynamic kit, it will most likely be styled in a similar manner to that of the RC F GT racecar that participated in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Race three years ago.
While there is no engine data available yet, we assume that the Lexus RC F Track Edition might end up with a modified 5.0L turbocharged V8 engine with improvements made in its oil, cooling and injection systems. The resulting power output is going to exceed the standard 473 hp (353 kW) and 528 Nm (394 lbft).
